Mykhailo Chechetov — February 28, 2015
Former Member of Parliament from the Party of Regions. Known for organizing critical votes during Yanukovych’s regime. Died after falling from the 17th floor of his apartment building in Kyiv. Official cause: suicide. He was under investigation for abuses of power during the Maidan revolution.


Stanislav Melnyk — March 9, 2015
Former Member of Parliament from the Party of Regions. Found dead with a gunshot wound. Official cause: suicide. His death was reported amid investigations into financial scandals tied to the previous regime.


Oleksandr Peklushenko — March 12, 2015
Former governor of Zaporizhzhia Region. Found dead at home from a gunshot wound to the neck. Official cause: suicide. Peklushenko had been under investigation for organizing crackdowns on protesters during Euromaidan, and his death raised serious suspicions.


Valeriy Davydenko — May 23, 2020
Ukrainian Member of Parliament. Found dead in the bathroom of his Kyiv office with a gunshot wound. Official cause: under investigation. His death raised suspicions due to his political and financial ties, and the unclear circumstances surrounding the scene.


Ihor Hryb — October 2, 2024
Lieutenant-Colonel in the Ukrainian army, commander of the 186th battalion. Found dead by suicide amid a highly controversial military situation. Reports suggest he acted to avoid executing orders that would have led his under-equipped unit into fatal combat. His death is seen as a silent protest against flawed military leadership.
